The SPCA St. John’s is a registered charity that helps homeless, injured, surrendered, and abused companion animals. Each year, they place over 1,200 cats and dogs in loving homes and support many more through spay and neuter programs. With full medical care and compassion, they help every animal heal and prepare for a fresh start.

The SPCA St. John’s is a registered Charity that helps companion animals in need. We are an adoption-focused agency helping homeless cats and dogs find happy beginnings in new homes. Every year the SPCA St. John’s facilitates the adoption of 1200+ animals, and helps 100s more through our spay and neuter programs. Some of the animals that enter our care may have been surrendered, injured, homeless or abused, but they all deserve a better life with a comfortable bed and a loving family.

We work with all the animals in our care to help rebuild their trust and make them feel safe. We provide them with all their necessary medical treatments and fully vet them to make sure they are healthy and ready for their new furever home.

Rules and Conditions

  1. Prizes to be accepted as offered and as presented, there are no substitutes.
  2. Prizes have no cash value unless otherwise stated.
  3. Purchasers must be at least 19 years of age. Tickets cannot be purchased in the name of a minor.
  4. Pursuant to the regulations governing this lottery, tickets must be purchased within the province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
  5. We "SPCA St. John's” reserves the right to publish names, addresses, and photographs of all the winners and or ticket purchasers and retain the right to use such for any, and all promotional purposes for an indefinite period. SPCA St. John's does adhere to PIPEDA.
  6. All disputes will be settled by “SPCA St. John's”, all decisions are final.
  7. Our SPCA St. John's liability is limited to the purchase price of the ticket only, if for any reason the ticket stub is not included in the draw. SPCA St. John's will make every reasonable effort to ensure that no tickets are excluded.
  8. 5O/5O can only be purchased online. These purchases have the following options available per ticket: Three (3) 5O/5O tickets for $10.00, ten (10) 5O/5O tickets for $25.00 and twenty five (25) 50/50 tickets for $50. This Draw will take place on December 31, 2025 at the SPCA St. John's Shelter, 115 R.C.A.F. Rd, St. John's. There is a limited number of 21,000 tickets available. If all tickets are sold at the highest ticket price of 3 tickets for $10.00, the total potential maximum ticket sales could be $70,000.00. The Jackpot represents exactly half of the sales collected, therefore the jackpot could be $35,000.00.

50/50 Draw: All Sales end December 30, 2025 are eligible. The drawing for this prize will be December 31, 2025 at the SPCA St. John's Shelter, 115 R.C.A.F. Rd, St. John's. Tickets are Available for Online Only.
